How coaching with me works

Begin with what matters now

We start with the challenge, question or possibility you bring. It may remain practical, reveal a deeper developmental question or move between action and reflection as the work develops.

Understand the whole situation

We consider what is happening across the person, role, relationships, organisation and wider life. We distinguish evidence from interpretation and explore what may be shaping your response.

Work out what is needed

The answer may involve trusting your judgement, questioning an assumption, drawing on an existing strength, building a capability, changing a condition or accepting that uncertainty remains.

Translate insight into movement

Understanding matters when it changes what becomes possible. We connect insight with decisions, conversations, boundaries, experiments, learning and action that fit your context.

Learn as you go

Coaching is not a one-off diagnosis. We notice what happens, revisit assumptions and allow new evidence to deepen your judgement and expand your choices.

The relationship

My approach is warm, grounded, practical and psychologically aware. I listen closely, reflect patterns and contradictions, ask questions, offer challenge and help organise complexity without reducing it to a simple answer.

I may introduce a tool or framework where it helps, but the work is led by the conversation and what is most useful to you.
